Thank you to everyone who has supported the Troop 73 American flag fundraiser.
At this time the event has ended, but you can contact America the Beautiful in Oradell and tell Chris that Troop 73 sent you. (201) 483-9152
Haworth Troop 73 was formed in 1925. Over the years Troop 73 has been on many adventures. Some of the service events that we have participated in more recently are:
Hosting Pancake Breakfast at the Haworth Fire House
Hosting a Pasta Diner at Sacred Heart Church
Performing Eagle Scout projects in Haworth and nearby towns
Troop 73 also has a long tradition of camping – both weekend camping and long term camping. This includes
Our annual Freezerie (hopefully on the coldest weekend of the winter)
Summer camp at NoBeBoSco annually
Trips to High Adventure camps in The Adirondacks (Floodwood), Florida Keys (SeaBase) and New Mexico (Philmont)
Numerous weekend trips both nearby and to historic places like Gettysburg, Antietam and Fort Mifflin
We also have a long tradition of scouts earning the rank of Eagle Scout with seven scouts attaining scouting’s highest rank in the last few years.
We are looking for ways to continue our scouting tradition and go on these great adventures in the future.
We meet every Thursday Night starting 7:30 pm at the Haworth Volunteer Fire Department located at 70 Hardenburgh Ave. Please feel free to contact the scoutmaster at haworthscoutmaster@gmail.com with any questions.
If you are 10 and have completed 5th grade or 11 years old. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
